forCrohns and Core are currently supporting a grant call to fund a top priority research question on Crohn’s Disease. forCrohns is a volunteer-run charity with a mission to fund research that helps those with Crohn’s Disease today and contributes towards finding a cure in the future.
British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG)
Core and Dr Falk have an ongoing collaboration to fund a number of recognition prizes and funding awards to support and encourage health professionals training or working in gastroenterology. British Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition (BSPGHAN)
Core and BSPGHAN have an ongoing collaboration to fund research in childhood gut, liver and nutrition disorders. The funding scheme runs every two years and the next round is expected in 2019. BSPGHAN promotes research, training and standards of clinical practice for health professionals and scientists in paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition.
Bowel & Cancer Research (BCR)
Core and BCR have supported a grant to advance the understanding or management of diverticular disease. Bowel & Cancer Research is a charity that strives for a day when no one will die of bowel cancer or have to live with chronic bowel disease.
Children’s Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF)
Core and CLDF have supported a grant covering scientific, clinical and medical aspects of liver disease diagnosed in the children or adolescents. Children’s Liver Disease Foundation is a charity dedicated to taking action against the effects of all liver diseases of childhood.
Core and Coeliac UK have supported two grants to advance the understanding of the immunopathogenesis, diagnosis and management of coeliac disease. Coeliac UK is the national charity improving the lives of people with coeliac disease.
Nutritional Research Foundation (NRF)
Core and the Nutritional Research Foundation have supported a number of grants in the past that focused on nutrition and the microbiome. Find out about previous recipients of the awards.
